		<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree with Steve...but why wait? Do it in the second interview, after HR has verified the candidate is not an ax murderer masquerading as a programmer. See the action early, save the talking for later if the action looks okay.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Another suggestion is to have the candidate come in for the interview during working hours so you can gauge his/her non-verbal reaction to the real work environment.&lt;/p&gt;
