		<description>&lt;p&gt;Good points...podcasting has arrived and is more demanding from a production equipment standpoint, but is a more effective way of communication, being closer to multimedia (which is always preferred than plaintext by the majority of consumers).  And I can say a heck of a lot more than I can write, so production is quicker.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The other advantage I see at the moment blogging has over podcasting is that most major search services (who am I kidding...Google!) don&#039;t index voice, so archiving, searching, finding and retrieving cool stuff is next to impossible without an adequate page with detailed show notes....which usually comes from a blog.&lt;/p&gt;
